GTA 5 is heading straight into history as one of the most perfect examples of gaming in the 21st Century. It’s a title with so many strengths that still coalesces into something greater than the sum of its parts. And while modded GTA 5 accounts for sale allow us to wreak havoc online, the base game remains worthy of a revisit or two!
Rockstar never shunned away from praising the action movies of the 80’s era, but with GTA 5, they expanded their focal points to produce a story with broader social commentary implications. The result is a game that’s hard-hitting, funny, memorable, and anything in between.
So, here are the most epic GTA 5 moments we won’t forget anytime soon!

Trevor Rides a Bike to Take Down a Plane
In this scenario well-fitted for a Die Hard movie, we have our hero Trevor Philips rushing to aid his friends in ways suiting his reputation. It’s the Caida Libre mission, and we get to swap between characters to pull it off. Trevor’s role is to “take care” of an airplane once other forces succeed in lowering its altitude, but there’s an added difficulty: it’s impossible to predict where exactly the plane will go down!
To stay on top of things, Trevor hops on a bike and embarks on a scenic off-road adventure, picking solely those unkempt trails that allow him to keep the aircraft so-so in view. It’s a thrilling challenge where the player has to find a path between cars speeding in the opposite direction as much as they’ll have to mind colliding with a random bush or branch.
Bury the Hatchet
Amidst the barrage of petty crimes, theft, hikes, and ludicrous driving that is GTA 5, there are GTA Online moments of disarming honesty and profound character building that reach deeper than anticipated. The “Bury the Hatchet” mission is a shiny example of how deeply the game’s story manages to connect with the player, all while revealing juicy chunks of Michael’s and Trevor’s shared past.
It’s also a GTA V moment that turns out slightly differently based on player agency, which is guaranteed to linger in the player’s mind the first time they initiate this mission. In short, starting it while controlling the other main guy alters the plot a bit, and only by replaying the game at least twice you are able to see all outcomes.
Hello Trevor!
If Trevor’s “opening cinematic” was the only indication of the type of character he is, well, it’s spot on! His moral values aside, the rascal that is Trevor quickly becomes likable and worthy of (at least a pinch of) empathy, though, he sure will try to change the player’s mind on that in the missions to come…
None of that takes away from the novelty we feel when we’re first placed into the shoes of GTA 5’s third main character. It’s an “unleashing” GTA moment in every sense of the word, exploding into a violent mission that’s equally funny all the way through, very much like something the Coen brothers usualy come up with for the big screen.
